Mutua Universal develops policies and initiatives that respect diversity and promote inclusion and equal opportunities. In 2022, the entity has continued working on its diversity plan, which aims to frame, in one single strategy, all the actions in terms of diversity management in order to become a more inclusive organisation, as well as improve and create value in all areas of its activity and for all groups.
The main focuses of the plan are: disability, gender, age, culture and LGTBI groups.
RENEWAL OF THE DIVERSITY CHARTER 2022/2024
The Fundación para la Diversidad has granted a renewal of Mutua Universal’s commitment to the Diversity Charter for 2022-2024, for continuing to contribute to the compliance with the ten European principles.
RENEWAL OF THE BEQUAL SEAL
Mutua Universal has renewed the Bequal Plus Seal for the fourth consecutive year, awarded by the Fundación Bequal which certifies its commitment to diversity and the inclusion of people with disabilities.
SANITARY SOCIAL WORK SERVICE
In collaboration with the rest of the entity’s care teams, this service is responsible for attending to those needs that may arise or worsen after suffering an accident at work.
SOCIO-OCCUPATIONAL REINTEGRATION PROGRAMME
For more than 10 years, the main objective of Mutua Universal’s Reinsertion into the Workplace Programme, managed by the Social Work area of the company, has been to attend to the needs of work and social integration of people who have suffered an accident at work or occupational illness and their families.
